Il Cuoco

This is a sneak preview of my latest creation. I called it “Il Couco” (the cook in Italian) because it is designed to be unveiled in the Cake Design Italian Festival in Milan. The idea is to customize the figurine of the cook to the country and to choose different traditional dishes to carry on this tray. In this case, pasta is the chosen dish.

Both versions, in Spanish and Italian of Animation in Sugar are currently available to order online. Many thanks to those who have been patiently waiting. I hope you enjoy the book.

Este es un Adelanto de mi última creación. La he llamado “Il Couco” (El cocinero en italiano) porque está diseñada para ser presentada en el Cake Design Italian Festival en Milán. La idea es acomodar la figura del cocinero al país donde se vaya a realizar y elegir diferentes platos tradicionales para que lleve en la bandeja. En este caso, el plato elegido es pasta.

Recordaos que las versiones en español e italiano del libro ya están disponibles online. Muchas gracias a todos por la paciente espera. Espero que lo disfrutéis.

The Quest for food

This is another project from Animation in Sugar. I am very glad to announce that the Italian and Spanish versions are ready to be published within the next weeks.

I came up with this idea after living in an old house in Edinburgh where I would often find mice in the kitchen. The mice were as cute as the ones I made in this scene but of course I couldn´t let them stay.

Este es otro proyecto de Animation in Sugar. Os anuncio que las versiones en italiano y español ya están listas y empezarán a publicarse en las próximas semanas.

La idea de este proyecto surgió después de vivir en una casa vieja en Edimburgo donde, de vez en cuando, encontraba algún ratón por la cocina en busca de comida. Estos ratoncitos eran tan simpáticos como los que aparecen en esta escena aunque, eso sí, los reales eran mucho más asustadizos.

I hope to make more videos in the future with subtitles for different languages.

Easter is just around the corner! / ¡Pascua está a la vuelta de la esquina!

Easter is just around the corner so with this cute family of a rooster, a hen and their chicks I would like to give you an idea about a decoration for this time of the year. These figures are made with basic shapes.

Pascua está a la vuelta de la esquina. Por eso, con esta graciosa familia compuesta por un gallo, una gallina y sus pollitos, os presento una idea para decorar una tarta para esta época del año. Estas figuras se modelan a partir de formas básicas.

With this delicate ballerina, I start a new year with lots of new ideas and challenges. You can find this project in my book Animation in Sugar.
